Yuji Nagasawa is an experienced audit and advisory professional with over 15 years of experience across Big 4 accounting, multinational corporations, high-growth technology businesses and international advisory engagements.

Yuji advises Australian businesses, multinational subsidiaries, inbound international groups and cross-border organisations on audit, assurance, financial reporting, governance and business risk matters. He combines strong technical expertise with practical commercial insight to help clients manage increasingly complex regulatory and reporting environments.

Yuji began his career with EY, delivering audit and advisory services to Australian and multinational organisations across a diverse range of industries. He later held senior finance positions with Walmart Japan and a high-growth technology company backed by SoftBank, gaining first-hand experience within large-scale and rapidly evolving business environments.

As a Registered Company Auditor, Yuji leads audit and assurance engagements with a practical, collaborative and risk-focused approach. His experience includes statutory audits, financial reporting, internal control reviews, forensic investigations, fraud risk assessments, due diligence, audit readiness programs and governance advisory.

Known for his calm and considered style, Yuji works closely with boards, executives and finance teams to identify issues early, communicate clearly and deliver outcomes without unnecessary complexity or last-minute surprises.

His industry experience spans banking, insurance, investment, real estate, mining, renewable energy, transport, tourism, aged care, construction, infrastructure, technology and consumer products. He has worked with both established organisations and growth-stage businesses, providing guidance on assurance, governance, financial reporting and organisational risk.

Fluent in Japanese, Mandarin and English, Yuji brings strong cross-cultural communication skills that enable him to support clients operating across multiple jurisdictions and business environments.

Beyond his professional work, Yuji has contributed to academic and research projects and supported the teaching of financial and management accounting at the University of New South Wales.

Outside of work, he enjoys swimming, basketball, baseball and travelling, and is a dedicated father of two.
