Laurice Mertens

I really enjoy the opportunity to provide integrated advice to our SMSF clients, working closely with our clients and our wealth experts across the Modoras family, to deliver outstanding client results.

For over 20 years, Laurice has been a mainstay of our Sydney Accounting team, developing close-knit relationships with many clients, and now working with intergenerational clients to maximise their family portfolios. Laurice works closely with clients to provide complex taxation advice, both to individuals and companies, in managing and optimizing tax obligations.

Laurice loves the opportunities she has at Modoras to expand her accounting and advisory skills and has grown a particular expertise in self-managed superannuation funds (SMSF). Her focus includes preparation of SMSF financial statements, annual returns, and member statements; management of investment portfolios, and working closely with clients to assist with all SMSF requirements.

Laurice works closely with her clients to track portfolios and investments, provide expertise in complex investment platforms, and management of purchases, transfers, and compliance processes needed within the SMSF environments. Laurice enjoys the opportunity to leverage her considerable technical SMSF expertise by working closely with wealth and asset management specialists within Modoras to provide a truly integrated offer to our clients.

When not at work, Laurice loves spending time with her family and loves to set her day up for success with her gym routine every morning. An avid traveller, and passionate cook, Laurice also discovered a passion for interior design and renovations.
