Damian Kaushik brings over five years of specialised audit experience across a broad range of industries, including MedTech, automotive, and not-for-profit. His professional journey began with a dual degree in Commerce and Law from Macquarie University, complemented by hands-on experience at Pitcher Partners, where he advanced to the role of Senior Accountant. Over the years, he has developed strong capabilities in risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting.

Damian has led and overseen complex audits, built audit frameworks, and delivered strategic insights to strengthen financial oversight. He has also held governance positions as a Non-Executive Director and Audit & Risk Chair for a not-for-profit organisation. Alongside his technical capabilities, Damian takes a leadership approach—mentoring junior staff and refining processes for operational improvement.

Damian is energised by the opportunity to build strong financial foundations that support long-term organisational success. He finds satisfaction in creating audit systems that not only meet compliance standards but also enhance overall efficiency. His focus on mentoring and knowledge-sharing is driven by a desire to help teams grow with confidence and capability.

Outside of work, Damian enjoys staying active—whether it’s at the gym or out in nature—as a way to recharge and stay focused. He’s passionate about community engagement through his ongoing volunteer work with St John Ambulance Australia and is always curious to explore new cultures through travel. In his downtime, you’ll find him reading about psychology and leadership—continually learning and applying new ideas to both work and life.
