Aron Bakos

Throughout 2023, Aron has been gaining experience in the accounting and audit profession in conjunction with the completion of his Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) & Bachelor of Laws degree and currently has an 84.6 Weighted Average Mark (WAM).

Through his experience at Modoras, Aron has obtained exposure to a number of elements across accounting and finance functions, including an understanding of the design and implementation of key controls, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, analysing Profit & Loss Statements, assessing the accuracy and completeness of Balance Sheet accounts and drafting statutory accounts. He is held in high regard by his peers for his attention to detail and conducting himself with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.

Aron’s experience, albeit relatively short, has resulted in him having a strong understanding of large private companies, equity trusts and small not-for-profit entities. He possesses a working knowledge of the operations of a variety of different businesses, across a range of industries.

Although Aron prides himself on strong communication skills, sound technical ability, proficiency with Microsoft Office, being a team player and knowledge of accounting and law, when asked just as important to Aron is his commitment to growth, both in a personal and professional setting.

Given his perspective from an accounting and legal background, Aron can harness two strands of critical thinking and loves tying them together to determine the best course of action for his clients.

Alongside his experience in audit, he was privileged and grateful to act as the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer, in a significant For Purpose entity, managing grant funding and legal compliance.

In his spare time, Aron thoroughly enjoys running, recently completing the Runaway Half-Marathon in 2023. He is now also committed to Muay Thai (Thai Boxing), where he seeks to continuously grow and develop his physical and mental self.
